Being hailed as the most progressive state college of Negros Occidental, CHMSC is no doubt on the road of being certified by the International Organization for Standardization.
On Wednesday, July 20, 2016, the college conducted an orientation for ISO preparation. Headed by Dr. Norberto P. Mangulabnan (CHMSC's Executive Assistant and Director for Quality Assurance and Accreditation), the college's faculty and staff learned more about the said certification.

Dr. Mangulabnan further explained what is ISO Certification, its classifications, and the benefits of having it in an organization. He then explicated that the college should focus more on its clients' satisfaction rather than itself, which turned the particpants on agreeing his statement.
When some internal auditors asked what to do during the college's internal audit, Dr. Nomer simply said, "just do the right thing. Walang friendship-friendship."
Being part of the orientation and surrounded by the different brains of CHMSC, the AVR's atmosphere felt like a new environment for continuous learning for me.
